About The Position

Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor - Emergency Room (ER) to join our team. This role is full-time, nights (Monday - Friday) - three 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm - 7:00 am) . Rotating holidays + on-call. During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights). The Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center is a full-service emergency department for adults at Inova Loudoun Hospital. It is a Joint Commission-certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center and an integral part of the trauma program at Inova Loudoun Hospital - Loudoun County's only designated trauma center. Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing; or, Associate Degree RN within one year of completing BSN program
• One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Inova RN Unit Supervisor and Charge Nurse Training within 3 months of start date

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department/Trauma Center with additional charge or supervisory responsibilities.
• Specialty certification specific to unit within 1 year; current ACLS and PALS
• BSN or MSN preferred
