Position Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires strong critical thinking, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously while delivering safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license for the position you are applying for
• Minimum of one year of recent acute care RN experience within the last year
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
• Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required or ability to obtain prior to start
• Basic Life Support BLS required prior to employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS required within 90 days of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS required within 90 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of employment start date
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
• Identify expected outcomes for individualized patient care plans.
• Develop and implement treatment strategies and alternatives.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing patient needs.
• Provide follow-up care instructions and coordinate referrals as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary hospital teams.
• Maintain a patient-focused and safety-driven approach at all times.
