Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel
About The Position
Horizon Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for their Adventure RN program. This program offers flexible employment opportunities across a national network of behavioral health facilities. The role involves providing quality care and improving the lives of patients. The Adventure RN program provides comprehensive orientation prior to the first assignment and offers career development opportunities through a large, nationwide network of peer nurses and nursing leaders. Intercompany transfers to permanent positions are possible with no pause in benefit coverage. The specific assignment is for a Behavioral Health RN at The Vines hospital in Ocala, FL, for 13 weeks, full-time (36 hours per week), with day or night shift options. The position offers an enhanced hourly rate, a tax-exempt stipend where applicable, bi-weekly pay, and the opportunity for overtime.
Requirements
- Current Florida RN license or compact/multi-state license
- At least one year of nursing experience in behavioral health or related area
- Current CPR or BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, record and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure the best possible care for the patients
