Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel
About The Position
Horizon Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment at The Ridge Behavioral Health System in Lexington, KY. This full-time position involves a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required, offering day or night shifts. The role offers an enhanced hourly rate, a tax-exempt stipend where applicable, bi-weekly pay, and the opportunity for overtime. Horizon Health's Adventure RN program provides flexible employment opportunities across its national network of behavioral health facilities, aiming to make a positive impact on patient well-being. The program emphasizes independence, variety, collaboration, career expansion, and comprehensive orientation. An intercompany transfer to permanent positions is facilitated if a nurse falls in love with a location, with no pause in benefit coverage.
Requirements
- Current Kentucky RN license or compact/multi-state license
- At least one year of nursing experience in behavioral health or related area
- Current CPR or BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, record and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure the best possible care for the patients
