About The Position

Join Saline Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) Trauma Program Manager and play a vital role in advancing trauma care and patient outcomes across our community. In this leadership position, you will oversee the monitoring and evaluation of nursing care for trauma patients while partnering closely with the Trauma Medical Director to coordinate quality improvement, performance improvement, and patient safety initiatives. From pre-hospital care through discharge, you will drive trauma program excellence by facilitating quality assurance activities, analyzing outcomes, and implementing strategies that enhance patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN who is passionate about clinical excellence, collaboration, and making a lasting impact on trauma services within a growing healthcare organization.

Requirements

• Current state or compact state RN license
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
• BLS / ACLS / PALS / TNCC required
• CSTR certification within 18 months of hire.
• Minimum five (5) years of trauma or critical care experience required
• Must have a current state or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Emergency Services experience preferred
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
• Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
• Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
• May provide patient care when necessary.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols
• Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
