Trauma IMC is a 12-bed Intermediate Care nursing unit with one negative pressure room and 1 equipped with bariatric ceiling lift. As a surgical trauma IMC unit, care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care trauma and surgical patients including but not limited to: Trauma patients requiring more frequent monitoring. Which may include advance respiratory support such as BiPap, HiFlo Oxygen, Vapotherm and trached patients requiring chronic ventilator support. Trauma surgery and related injuries requiring more frequent monitoring. Orthopedic trauma and related injuries requiring more frequent monitoring. Trauma Acute Care Surgery patients requiring more frequent monitoring. Other Surgical Patients requiring more frequent monitoring admitted by Trauma and Acute Care Surgery (TACS). Secondary placement for post tPA patients requiring more frequent monitoring.
