About The Position
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team. This position is responsible for the coordination of patients through the state-wide Transfer Center. Working with physicians and applying clinical judgement to facilitate the management, placement, and transport of patients throughout the state to Sister Hospitals or facilities that can provide the proper level of care and specialty for the individual needs of each patient. Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Critical Care setting are incredibly important members of the medical team who have the humbling task of caring for our sickest and most vulnerable patients. RNs not only provide high-quality medical care, but they also provide a healing touch and a compassionate presence to patients and their families during joyful, stressful and uncertain times.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
- 3 years recent clinical experience in acute care is required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Critical care experience is preferred.
