About The Position

The RN Telemetry team at Frye Regional Medical Center offers a supportive, team-oriented culture where nurses collaborate closely to provide exceptional cardiac and telemetry care. The 24-Bed unit features self-scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and every-other-weekend rotation, helping promote flexibility and work-life balance. Nurses gain valuable experience caring for a diverse patient population while working alongside experienced leaders and a strong interdisciplinary team. The unit is a 24-Bed Unit with a 4:1 Patient Ratio and 12 Hour Shifts. It involves Cardiology Procedures and Telemetry Monitoring, and care for Pre & Post Cardiac Cath Patients.

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred (Telemetry or Cardiac)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
