About The Position
As a Registered Nurse working within the Surgicenter unit at Lankenau Medical Center, you will be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team, providing care and treatment to patients in the pre and post-operative phases. This role offers opportunities for professional development through tuition reimbursement, involvement in nursing committees and research projects, and advancement via the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements
- One year of recent Pre/Postop, PACU or Procedural Nurse experience required.
- RN Diploma, ASN required.
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Caring for pre and postop patient population.
- Being part of an Interdisciplinary Team.
- Providing care and treatment to patients within the Surgicenter unit.
- Pursuing certifications or advanced nursing degrees.
- Becoming engaged by joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
