About The Position

As a Registered Nurse on the Surgical & Trauma Stepdown/Progressive Care (PCU) unit at Lankenau Medical Center, you will be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team, providing care and treatment to patients in a 32-bed unit. This role focuses on the patient experience and offers opportunities for professional development and career growth within the Main Line Health system.

Requirements

• RN Diploma, ASN required.
• One year of recent Telemetry/Stepdown Nurse experience required.
• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Post Surgical and/or Trauma RN experience preferred.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caring for the Surgical & Trauma Stepdown/Progressive Care (PCU) patient population.
• Participating in hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees.
• Engaging in Unit Councils.
• Contributing to evidence-based research projects.
• Precepting new staff.
• Pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
