About The Position
A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Surgical/Perioperative services, including robotics and specialty procedures. The RN will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include patient assessment, assisting in procedures, patient education, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- 5+ years of relevant perioperative or surgical nursing experience
- Experience in the following surgical areas: General Surgery, GYN, ENT, Orthopedics, Urology, Vascular Procedures
- Hands-on experience with: Robotics (including Mako Robotics), Total Joint Replacement procedures
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Neuro Spine Surgery
- Experience in Pediatrics
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in a surgical/perioperative setting
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
- Assist physicians during surgical and robotic procedures
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient care and education
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
