About The Position
The UVA Health Internal Traveler Program (ITP) offers experienced healthcare professionals the flexibility of 13-week assignments combined with the opportunity to become part of one of the nation's leading academic health systems. Internal Travelers can explore new clinical environments, expand their skills, and earn competitive compensation and sign-on incentives while working assignments for up to 39 weeks. The ITP provides a unique opportunity to enjoy the variety of travel healthcare while discovering a team and organization you may want to call home. This is a 26-week contract.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
