Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Surgery department is responsible for planning, executing, directing, and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care for surgical patients. This role ensures continuity of care throughout the surgical experience and involves supervising and directing patient care while ensuring proper techniques are used according to accepted standards. The RN must be proficient in operating medical equipment, possess strong computer skills, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving, written, and oral communication abilities. They will also assist other members of the healthcare team as needed and may function as a charge nurse.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Current State of California RN license
- Current PALS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year O.R. experience desired

Responsibilities
