The RN Surgery Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures and is a vital position that helps ensure the smooth operation of surgical services and the best possible care for patients that is appropriate to the ages of patients served.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• IL Reg Nurse License
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Proficient in typing
• Excellent computer knowledge using multiple computer systems concurrently
• Professional phone skills and etiquette
• Strong background knowledge of medical terminology
