About The Position

Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center has an opportunity for an experienced RN to take the next step developmentally in their nursing profession and help lead a team of nurses in a supportive and nurturing facility! The team is looking for a RN Supervisor to work every other Saturday and Sunday from 7pm-7am! Earn an elevated flat rate of $66.50 per hour for your scheduled weekend track shifts and qualify for Part-Time benefits in this role! Why Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center? Requirements

Valid NYS RN license
Associate’s degree in nursing
Current CPR and BLS or achieve with onsite training
1+ yr of experience as a RN

Nice To Haves

1+ yr of experience in a leadership role overseeing staff
1 + yr of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
MDS experience
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities
Excellent communication in a fast pace work environment across teams on different shifts
Strong engagement within a team setting
Leadership and mentorship skills overseeing RNs, LPNs and C.N.A staff
Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Responsibilities

On behalf of the Director of Nursing, provides for the continuity of nursing services in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality nursing care to residents and families
Will serve as the on-site administrative person for the facility and oversee staff to promote patient and staff safety
Demonstrates the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees
