About The Position

Atrium Health Levine Children's Gastonia Children's Clinic provides expert pediatric primary care in Gastonia, NC. Our board-certified pediatricians and advanced practice providers are specially trained in the unique health needs of children of all ages, including newborns. From routine well-child checkups and immunizations to same-day sick visits and care for chronic conditions, count on us to help your child get well, stay well, and feel their best now and as they grow up. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate RN to play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • BSN RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
  • BLS per policy guidelines.
  • Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam.
  • Two years of Nursing experience
