About The Position
Texas Health Azle is a 36-bed, community-based hospital serving the tri-county area since the 1950s. We provide exceptional care to the suburban areas of Azle, Lake Worth, Springtown and surrounding areas. We’re accredited through The Joint Commission for disease specific care of Chest Pain patients and we are accredited through the Texas Department of Health & Human Services as a Level IV Support Stroke facility, a Level IV Trauma Center and a Pathways to Excellence-designated hospital. We specialize in outpatient surgery, rehabilitative physical and hand therapy, and advanced imaging like mammography and CT scanning. Requirements
- Associate's Degree Nursing Req
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req
- 5 Years Experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) Req
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Req
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 Months Req
- Practices within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
- Proactive problem solving skills, good interpersonal, verbal, written and computer skills.
- Excellent prioritization skills.

- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref
- 3 Years Emergency and/or critical care nursing Pref
Responsibilities
- Promotes shared decision making through collaborative/consultative relationships with nursing administration, department leadership, general nursing staff and other department staff.
