This is an excellent unit to build foundational skills and knowledge, supportive of newly licensed RN's through Preceptorship and Nurse Residency programs. The patient population includes Stroke, Seizures, Diabetes, Kidney disease, Alzheimers, Dementia, Electrolyte Imbalance, and Mental Health. The role offers continuous learning opportunities with medical/surgical patients through a wide variety of patient diagnoses, chronic conditions, and treatment plans. You will develop and expand your practice by building foundational skills and knowledge through Nurse Residency and Preceptor directed orientation, acquiring skills such as time management, triaging accountabilities, communication skills, pharmacology, lab interpretation, and pathophysiology of disease processes. The position emphasizes continuity of patient care through 12-hour shifts, patient-centered care, and team-minded support, fostering collaborative relationships with a resourceful multi-disciplinary team. You will be a valued member of a highly skilled, resilient, and versatile nursing team committed to ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate healthcare to diverse patient populations.
