About The Position

As a Registered Nurse, you would be caring for the Stepdown/Progressive Care (PCU) patient population within a 14-bed unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their Patient Experience. Requirements

• One year(s) of recent Telemetry or Stepdown level Nurse experience required.
• RN Diploma, ASN required.
• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.

Nice To Haves

• Recent Stepdown experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caring for the Stepdown/Progressive Care (PCU) patient population.
• Participating in an Interdisciplinary Team.
• Joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
