About The Position

Join Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center, a partnership formed in 2022 between Community Health Network and MD Anderson Cancer Center. This partnership integrates Community’s cancer services with MD Anderson across all five of Community’s sites of cancer care. Community MD Anderson is one of a select few partners with MD Anderson, a global leader in cancer care, and the only partner in Indiana. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. You will manage patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrate skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources. This role involves managing the complete care of the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy (SCTCT) inpatient and working collaboratively with the SCTCT team to learn and maintain all aspects of applicable FACT accreditation standards. You will also maintain continuing education credits as required to support cancer product line accreditations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete care of the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy (SCTCT) inpatient.
  • Work collaboratively with the SCTCT team to learn and maintain all aspects of applicable FACT accreditation standards.
  • Maintain continuing education credits as required to support cancer product line accreditations.
