About The Position
Jefferson House, a non-profit organization and member of the Hartford Healthcare community, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Skilled Nursing. With a long history of providing excellent long-term care and short-term rehabilitation to seniors in the greater Hartford area, Jefferson House offers a supportive environment for its nursing staff. As part of the larger Hartford HealthCare system, which includes 7 acute care hospitals, a Behavioral Health Network, Senior Services, and a Medical Group network, this role offers opportunities for growth and contribution within a leading Connecticut health system.
Requirements
- Connecticut RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong Team Player
- Compassionate approach to older adults
- New graduates will require one year of experience to become competent, with an evaluation at 6 months to assess progress
Responsibilities
- Lead the care team at Jefferson House.
- Leverage experience to provide guidance and direction to the care team.
- Ensure residents and patients receive compassionate care in a safe environment.
