Registered Nurse (RN) - SICU
About The Position
As a Registered Nurse in the Surgical/Trauma ICU (SICU) at Lankenau Medical Center, you will be an integral part of an Interdisciplinary Team within a 16-bed unit. You will provide care and treatment to surgical/trauma intensive care patients, significantly impacting their patient experience. This role offers opportunities for professional development, including pursuing certifications or advanced nursing degrees through a Tuition Reimbursement Program, and engagement in hospital and system-wide initiatives such as Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, research projects, precepting, and the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements
- One year of recent ICU Nurse experience required.
- RN Diploma, ASN required.
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
Nice To Haves
- Surgical/Trauma ICU Nurse experience preferred.
- BSN preferred.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Caring for the surgical/trauma intensive care patient population.
- Being an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Participating in hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
