About The Position

The RN Sepsis Coordinator leads the development, implementation, and sustainability of the hospital’s sepsis program to ensure evidence-based protocols and therapies are consistently followed as the standard of care. This role collaborates closely with physicians, nursing, quality, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, coordinated, and patient-centered sepsis care. The coordinator provides clinical expertise, education, and support to staff, patients, and families; conducts rounds and reviews clinical data for patients diagnosed with sepsis; and partners with medical staff to reduce sepsis-related mortality and length of stay. Responsibilities also include collecting, analyzing, and reporting sepsis program data to drive performance improvement, enhance documentation, and improve patient outcomes and overall patient experience. You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license.
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • Three (3) years clinical nursing experience in Neuroscience, Intensive Care, ER or acute Med Surg preferred.
