Requirements
- Valid license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Louisiana.
- American Heart Association BLS-HCP.
Nice To Haves
- 1 yrs Med Tele/Med Surg or SDS experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
- Complete patient assessments, review medical histories, and initiate IV therapy.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patients for pain, complications, and recovery progress.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, discharge instructions, and home recovery.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
- Promote patient safety and uphold infection prevention and regulatory standards.
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations, including CPR when necessary.
