REGISTERED NURSE (RN)- RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT-CHILD WELFARE

FOUR OAKS FAMILY AND CHILDRENS SERVICESCedar Rapids, IA
Onsite

About The Position

Four Oaks is looking for a Registered Nurse who wants to bring their clinical experience somewhere it can make a different kind of impact. Our RN supports youth living in Residential Treatment—young people who need more than medical care. They need consistency. Advocacy. Someone who notices when something isn't right. Someone they trust enough to say, "I don't feel okay." That's where you come in. This Is Nursing With Connection. As our Registered Nurse, you'll oversee and coordinate the healthcare needs of youth in our residential programs while serving as an important resource for the staff supporting them every day. Yes, there are medications, assessments, appointments, policies, and documentation. But there's also something you don't get in every nursing position: Time to build relationships. You'll get to know the youth in your care. You'll learn what's normal for them and recognize when something isn't. You'll advocate for their medical needs, coordinate their care, educate the people supporting them, and help create an environment where their physical and emotional health are both taken seriously.
