About The Position

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) is a specialized 17-bed facility dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients requiring intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy following significant injury, surgery, or illness. The unit's goal is to maximize patient recovery, restore functional abilities, and facilitate a smooth transition back to the community or a lower level of care.

Requirements

  • Current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure
  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing
  • Graduate of a Credited Nursing Program
  • Current RN to practice in the state of TN.
  • American Heart Association BCLS (New employees have 30 days to complete American Heart Association version if certified by another organization)
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take initiative.
