About The Position

Our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit at West Jefferson Medical Center cares for patients who require continued care and rehabilitation following a significant illness, injury, or medical event. The primary patient population includes individuals recovering from strokes, brain injuries, motor vehicle collisions, and other conditions that impact mobility, function, and independence. This is a great opportunity for nurses who enjoy building strong clinical skills, collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, and helping patients work toward meaningful recovery goals. At West Jefferson Medical Center, you're more than just another employee—you're an important part of the team. As part of LCMC Health, we offer the opportunities and resources of a larger health system while maintaining the close-knit feel of a local hospital. You'll have the opportunity to build and strengthen your clinical skills while caring for patients with a variety of complex rehabilitation needs, work closely with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, and fellow caregivers, develop meaningful relationships with patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process, help patients regain strength, function, independence, and confidence, grow your nursing career and explore future opportunities within LCMC Health, and be part of a collaborative team that supports one another and the patients and families we serve. Whether you're a new graduate ready to start your nursing career or an experienced RN looking for a rewarding new opportunity, we'd love to meet you.
