About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Regional Float Pool. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside. This role offers a $20/hour regional float differential! The position is for nights, 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and will involve working at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, and Holy Family Hospital across locations in O’Fallon, IL, Highland, IL, Breese, IL, and Greenville, IL. HSHS is a multi-institutional health care system serving communities throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, with 13 hospitals and numerous community-based health centers and clinics. Requirements

  • Diploma or Associates degree in nursing is required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois is required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Wisconsin is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in specialty area is preferred.
  • Certification in area of specialty is preferred but in some cases may be required to float.
