About The Position

This is a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Recovery and Wellness department at the Addiction Recovery Center, located at 240 North Miller Road Mansfield, TX 76063. The work hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The department offers flexible schedules, creative therapies for personal expression and multidisciplinary treatment, and a collaborative team approach. The role involves delivering care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process, including assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation. It also includes incorporating age-specific safety and infection control measures, initiating actions to meet patient information needs, and maintaining continuity of patient care.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma required OR Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
BCLS prior to hire
BCPMHN upon hire required
ACPI (30 days within hire)
One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
One year of Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities
