Requirements

ADN or BSN
Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license (upon hire)
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
ACLS (within 30 days of hire)
PALS (within 30 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 1 year Critical Care experience

Responsibilities

Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting patient care, including patient education, for all age groups, pediatric, adult and geriatric, peri-operative, and postoperative periods of the patient’s surgical experience.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Observe and enforce policies, procedures and practices of the Department of Surgical Services and the institution.
Use the installed computer systems to support and augment services.
Be available for mandatory call with a 20-minute response time.
Delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff members based upon individual patient need and staff qualifications.
