About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to support a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient-centered nursing care across radiology modalities including CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and PET services.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license required
• ASN required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Strong IV insertion and port access skills required
• Excellent communication and patient assessment abilities

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Radiology nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians during radiology procedures
• Assess, plan, implement, and document individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical status changes appropriately
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care needs
• Support patient safety and evidence-based nursing practices
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, treatments, and care plans
• Perform IV insertion, port access, and monitor/manage allergy reactions
• Maintain accurate patient documentation according to nursing standards and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
