About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) Quality Coordinator plays a crucial role in improving patient safety and the quality of care provided. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring initiatives focused on patient safety. The role involves close collaboration with clinical teams, meticulous monitoring of safety protocols, and thorough analysis of data and incident reports. The coordinator will implement strategies to prevent harm, improve patient outcomes, and apply evidence-based practices. Additionally, this position will serve as a backup for Data Analysis/Abstraction as needed.

Requirements

• BLS for Healthcare Provider.
• Associate’s degree in nursing or allied health science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years’ experience in healthcare quality improvement, patient safety, or a related field preferred.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in-Patient Safety (CPPS) or similar certification preferred, or within one year of hire.
