About The Position

Our nursing teams feature a top-of-license approach utilizing a reliable cohort of RNs, LPNs, Lead Mental Health Technicians, Unit Clerks and Mental Health Technicians all dedicated to patient safety and quality care. New graduate RNs are welcome to apply! Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) has been in operation since 1997, serving youth across the country that are in need of psychiatric treatment for a variety of mental health issues. The Midwest Center is a respected healthcare provider, fully accredited, 74-bed private, residential treatment facility with locations in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN. We are dedicated to the care of the hearts and minds of our patients with compassion and superior quality behavioral healthcare services through our full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents ages 10 - 18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges. The Patriot Support Program at Midwest Center offers specialized treatment designed to address the behavioral health needs and challenges of the children of active-duty military, reserve, and national guard members. Requirements

  • Current Indiana RN License
  • Associates degree required
  • Current CPR or BLS certification
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient safety and quality care.
  • Utilize a top-of-license approach in nursing care.
