About The Position

Valley Behavioral Health Hospital Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in Behavioral Health to join their team. The Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, evaluates, and documents patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice by the Arizona State Board of Nursing
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility
• 1 year of med/surge experience

Responsibilities

• Prescribes, coordinates, evaluates, and documents patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
