About The Position

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN Tier 2 position. This role offers a competitive rate of $57/hour with shift differentials for nights and weekends, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The hospital specializes in inpatient rehabilitation for patients with a wide range of conditions including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. The position includes an extensive orientation program, opportunities for advancement, and benefits that support financial, work/life, and emotional well-being. Part-time/Per Diem employees are eligible for 401k and an employee assistance program.

Requirements

• Valid State RN license
• At least one year of RN experience
• BLS required at hire

Nice To Haves

• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program
• Clinical experience 10 years
• RN experience

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
