Registered Nurse, RN (PRN) – Perot PACU Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: PRN; Days, primarily 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM; Flexible schedule; On-call requirements. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- Two-years of experience as a registered nurse in PACU or critical care preferred
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
