Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Nights | Sussex Rehab
About The Position
This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth and advancement within PAM Health. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The role involves planning, coordinating, and providing patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The RN may also perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as a Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
Requirements
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
- Current BLS certification.
- Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
