About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN Days. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth and advancement within a supportive leadership environment. The Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients on the nursing unit. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating patient care, interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and accessing community resources. The role may also include Charge Nurse duties, which require ACLS certification.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties (ACLS certification required).
