About The Position

Giving Home Health Care has been supporting individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy since 2012. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN) in the Katy, TX area to administer patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. Patients' needs include 8 hours a month. Requirements

  • Active RN license (State or Compact)
  • 1+ year of RN experience preferred (clinical or home health)
  • CPR certification
  • TB test (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Liability insurance

Responsibilities

  • Follow physician-prescribed care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vitals
  • Educate patients and families
  • Collaborate with CNAs, HHAs, and Case Managers
  • Document care accurately and in a timely manner
  • Perform various activities associated with daily living
