About The Position
This PRN Registered Nurse position in the PreOp PostOp unit at Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital focuses on providing care related to basic human needs, human respect, appreciation of unique meanings, affiliation needs, mutual problem solving, attentive reassurance, encouraging manner, healing environment, and teamwork. The hospital is a 47-bed facility specializing in various cardiac surgeries and procedures, operating in a team-based environment with a strong cardiac focus. Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required OR Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
- CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign equivalency required
- 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse required
- RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
Nice To Haves
- Previous Pre/Post Op Cath Lab experience preferred
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required
