Registered Nurse (RN)-Pre-Surgical, Cardiology Clinic
About The Position
This is a Full-Time RN role supporting surgical/procedure scheduling and pre-procedure coordination for designated high-volume cardiology providers. Responsibilities may also include basket coverage and other team support as needed. The position will initially be onsite for training and onboarding, with potential for hybrid/remote work after approximately 4-6 months based on competency and department needs. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support surgical/procedure scheduling and pre-procedure coordination for designated high-volume cardiology providers.
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- Basket coverage and other team support as needed.
