About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre-Op position at Canyon Vista Medical Center is a full-time role focused on delivering pre-operative and post-operative care within the Perioperative Services Department. This department is responsible for a wide range of surgical specialties and is committed to high-quality, patient-centered care. The role operates in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment, offering opportunities for learning and professional growth. Schedules are generally Monday through Friday with four 10-hour shifts, and some on-call coverage is required.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
• Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
• BLS required.
• ACLS & PALS certifications are required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
• One year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivery of pre-operative and post-operative care of the perioperative patient in the Pre/Post Unit through the use of the nursing process.
• Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care pertinent to the individual patient.
