About The Position

We are looking for RNs with at least 1 year of pre-op/PACU experience for this role. Preference for those with pediatric experience. This position does require call shifts and you must be able to be on campus within 30 minutes.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of acute care nursing experience OR nine (9) months of acute care nursing experience in a pediatric setting.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) required within two (2) years of hire.
• Knowledge of and ability to provide appropriate family-centered patient care, based upon age appropriateness, cultural and spiritual needs.
• Excellent customer satisfaction skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete duties in a timely and organized manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively and in a positive manner with others.
• Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in response to unexpected changes in work load/staffing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Ped. Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Registered Nurse – CA (RN).

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience.
• One (1) year acute care nursing in a pediatric inpatient hospital.
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN).
