About The Position
Digestive Health Center of Plano is seeking a Full-Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team Monday through Friday—no weekends, holidays, or on-call. Requirements
- Active RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience (GI, PACU, OR, or acute care preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- GI, PACU, OR, or acute care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures, including assessments, education, and care planning
- Provide attentive post-anesthesia recovery care and monitor patient status
- Administer medications and follow physician orders accurately
- Deliver patient education, including discharge instructions and follow-up care
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
- Support a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
