This full-time, onsite position offers experienced nurses the opportunity to apply a broad range of clinical skills while contributing to an improved, patient-centered pre-infusion workflow. As a Registered Nurse in the Pre-Infusion Clinic, you will help ensure oncology patients are clinically prepared for treatment while supporting care across both the pre-infusion and clinic teams. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative outpatient environment where sterile technique, dependable assessment skills, and compassionate communication are essential. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Oncology or infusion experience
  • Confident with IV placement and central-line access

Responsibilities

  • Accessing central lines and consistently maintaining sterile technique and safe nursing practice
  • Performing blood draws, initiating peripheral IVs, and administering medications
  • Supporting oncology patients during clinic visits and helping coordinate their readiness for treatment
  • Moving between the pre-infusion and clinic teams as patient volumes and care needs evolve
  • Communicating with patients and interdisciplinary colleagues to promote coordinated, efficient care
  • Helping strengthen the pre-infusion workflow while maintaining a clear focus on safety, quality, and the patient experience
