PRN Registered Nurse (RN) – Personal Assistance Services (PAS)

As a licensed Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) Personal Assistance Services (PAS) agency, we are committed to delivering exceptional non-medical care while ensuring quality, compliance, and outstanding customer service. The PRN RN will provide nursing oversight and support on an as-needed basis, including client assessments, supervisory visits, caregiver education, care planning, and clinical consultation to ensure our clients receive safe, high-quality care.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience (home care, hospice, or geriatrics preferred).
- Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of Texas PAS regulations is a plus.
- Current CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation, valid Texas driver's license, and current auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nursing assessments and supervisory visits.
- Develop and update individualized service plans.
- Monitor client health status and communicate changes appropriately.
- Educate and support caregivers on client-specific care needs.
- Assist with quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in incident investigations and clinical consultations.
- Support agency compliance with Texas HHS regulations and agency policies.
