UPMC St. Margaret is currently hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our Peri-Anesthesia Unit! This dynamic role offers the opportunity to care for patients throughout the surgical journey, providing exceptional care in both the pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery phases. Our Peri-Anesthesia team is known for its strong culture of collaboration, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care, working closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and seamless surgical experiences. This position works variable 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with scheduled weekday night call and weekend call requirements. Shift times include 5:00 AM–5:30 PM, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 7:30 AM–8:00 PM, 8:00 AM–8:30 PM, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM, and 9:30 AM–10:00 PM. Candidates must have experience in a critical care setting to qualify, experience in Peri-Anesthesia is preferred but not required.
