About The Position
Comfort Home Care is seeking Per-Diem Registered Nurses (RNs) for the Greater Boston area. This role offers a unique opportunity for nurses to achieve better work-life balance and make a significant impact on patients' lives by providing compassionate care in their homes. Our nurses assist psychiatric and home health patients in maintaining independence and avoiding unnecessary hospitalizations. The compensation is $35 per visit, with an average expectation of two visits per hour.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
- One year of nursing experience (home health or psych preferred).
- A drive to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Reliable transportation for patient visits.

Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient's current condition, medical needs, and overall well-being at each visit.
- Create and modify patient care plans based on individual needs and changing conditions.
- Educate patients on medication guidance, wound care, and other aspects of their treatment to promote independence.
- Communicate and coordinate with providers, families, and care teams regarding patient status and changes.
- Document patient visit notes accurately from home for compliance and continuity of care.
