About The Position

AHRC New York City is seeking a Per-Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for its Home Care division. This role is crucial in supporting neurodivergent children and adults by ensuring the highest standards of care within our licensed home care agency. The RN will be instrumental in training and supervising Home Health Aides (HHAs), evaluating medical screenings for staff, managing HHA incidents, and providing guidance on OSHA and other medical matters.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed RN in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Home Care Assessments for new cases and reassessments for ongoing cases
• Development of plans-of-care, coordinate with physicians for approvals
• Supervision of HHA and PCA staff in the field
• Pre-service training for HHA’s
• In-service training for HHA’s
• Participate in Quality Improvement meetings/Board Meetings
• Monitor Health assessments and medicals of HHA’s (including drug screens, Doctors notes, Hep. B vaccinations, etc.)
• Conduct Clinical Competency/Skills of HHA’s
