Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Behavioral Health - Nights
About The Position
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible, provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements! Where You Will Work: Pediatric Behavioral Health (16 Beds) Pediatric Behavioral Health is a 16 bed child/adolescent unit. Average daily census is 14. Our unit collaborates with providers, nursing teammates, recreational therapy, music therapy, social work, chaplaincy, and several other child-friendly volunteer groups. Our average length of stay is 5-7 days. We currently utilize the CPI de-escalation program. We were recently voted twice as a unit to "likely recommend for care" by patients and families. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- At least one year RN experience
